here to share words of Hope on the hard days to the hurting, broken & lonely.
Me
Just me, Karla Lees. A curly haired bespectacled Canadian gal who fell in love with both words and music at a very young age. Encountering God as a young adult, I dove into studying the Word at Tyndale University before marrying my husband. Mom of two adult children & two young cats, I work in admin & billing while volunteering in my church & local community. You can most often find me singing, reading, hanging out with friends, ministering through worship, listening & prayer, chilling at home, blogging here or chatting on social media.
An intrinsic part of my core is my belief that we are meant to be who God designed us to be. For me, that means before all else, His child.
As someone who has hit deep lows of hurt, brokenness and loneliness, I get how important it is to keep hope filled, especially on the hard days. Which is why I spend time in the Word and worshipping before I write what He lays on my heart to share. May the Hope I have found in Him reassure you that you are not alone, you are never abandoned or forgotten, and you are always His – regardless of how hard your day becomes!
Dear sister in Christ, Karla
I would like to thank you for the great honor from you to me this evening. Thank you for reblog my post. May God alone bless your life abundantly and use you amazingly to be blessing to others. Have a great and blessed Sunday to you.
Just now your about page and once again I am delighted to find someone with so much in common. It is like reading my own stuff. I too prefer written over verbal and after many times questioning why this is, I am finally just accepting that is how he made me. We are all unique masterpieces! God bless you and keep writing, I love your posts 🙂
Hello,
I’ve been reading a lot of your posts (on and off for the past few months ), I was wondering if you’d be interested in writing a guest post on my blog for me ? Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll send more details.
Vanessa
